Demo Theme NOT installing:
Hi, Thank you for helping me set up an account.
Here is the issue:
I have tried 4-5 times to install the Gwangi Theme (DatingDemo) . Then I went and had Envato to install; they tried for 2 days and still couldn’t. They told me to contact you and said you would help install. And yes, I went through every tutorial you have on the Support Pages for installation etc. Still no luck.
Look forward to resolving this issue. I am so perplexed about it. I usually have no problem installing themes etc. Envato even cleared my entire site out.
Thank you

To help us getting clues and find a solution to this issue, please activate logging on your website, just turn WP_DEBUG to true, by pasting the following code lines in your wp-config.php file, just before the line that says ‘That’s all, stop editing! Happy blogging.’:
// Enable WP_DEBUG mode define( 'WP_DEBUG', true ); // Enable Debug logging to the /wp-content/debug.log file define( 'WP_DEBUG_LOG', true ); // Disable display of errors and warnings define( 'WP_DEBUG_DISPLAY', false ); @ini_set( 'display_errors', 0 );
More on this in the following topic: https://codex.wordpress.org/Debugging_in_WordPress
Then, could you share the content of your
debug.log
file with us please? You can post the content of this file as plain text in your next reply and mark it as private to keep this between us.After having reviewed your next reply, we’ll be able to tell you if the issue is caused by our product, a third party plugin or any type misconfiguration on your server.
If we’re not able to help, we’ll recommend you to transfer the error logs to the plugin author or to your server hosting support.
Thank you.

Hi Combinc,
Unfortunately, we don’t have access to activate the WP_Debug mode. Only you can do it. :/
Without the logs, we are not able to tell you what might cause this issue. However, our best guess is that this issue is related to your host. You certainly don’t have all access on wordpress.com. wordpress.com is useful for beginners as it is simple to create a site. However, it is quite limited. For this reason, we don’t have much solutions.
Could you be able to install a new WordPress on an other host? I really believe it will work fine.
In case you want to keep your wordpress.com host, I suggest you to report this issue to them. I’m sure they’ll be able to tell you why you can’t import all the demo.
We’re waiting for your feedback.
Sincerely,

Hi Combinc,
Thank you for your feedback. I’m glad to read someone has been able to help you!
We took a look at your website, but we can’t find the errors anymore. On the screenshot you gave me, it seems this error is related to AMP plugin.
We don’t usually recommend wordpress.com as it is quite limited on the manipulation we can make. However, it is quite confortable for beginners to be hosted there. At this point, there is nothing we can do more without the logs. 🤷🏻♀️
Sincerely,
