    Hi,

    What is the best solution today to search nearby users? I tried BP distance search but although it works on the profile page I get this error on the search page.

    jquery.min.js?ver=3.7.1:2 Uncaught ReferenceError: google is not defined
    at bps_autocomplete (bps-template.js?ver=5.7.4:13:21)
    at HTMLDocument.<anonymous> (search-members/:520:26)
    at e (jquery.min.js?ver=3.7.1:2:27028)
    at t (jquery.min.js?ver=3.7.1:2:27330)

    Also as I’m running a dating site: how can I reach that only the compatible members see each other? For example a man should see only those accounts that are looking for a man but shouldn’t see other men looking for a woman.

    Hi Golaxo,

    We recommend you BP xProfile Location plugin. Please make sure that you have filled in the right Google Maps API key to be allowed to use its service with BP xProfile Location. The plugin author wrote a tutorial to help you go through this step by step:

    Is MatchPress able to restrict the users in the way I mentioned and is it compatible with BP Better Messages? Thanks

    Indeed, you’ll be able to hide users that don’t suit users’ preferences.

    BP Better Messages has not been tested yet with MatchPress.
