Hi there..
1) Can you ell me where to edit this area of page template attached?
I searched widgets, pages, menus, templates (I have no template called ‘search template’ in template pages), tried ‘Edit with Elementor’, ‘Customise’ theme and cannot find it.2) Also – where are these Page Templates in dropdown (attached) in the Edit Page stored?
Thank you

Hi epgb101,
Can you confirm me you’re on the search page? Please be aware this page is generate by WordPress. The BP Global Search plugin will edit it to make the search form works on forum, groups and users.
Please note that to reduce repetition in CSS, and improve powerful runtime effects like theme switching, we use variables to customize our theme. In your case, the primary button background color variable is used. Simply attribute another background color to your primary button to change the main color in Customize > Appearance > Buttons > Primary. To edit the field, go to Customize > Appearance > Form controls.
Hope this will help you solve this. 🙂
Best regards,

Hi Ed,
This is standard behavior with our theme, I’m afraid.
As this is not breaking the page, changing this is considered customization work. Moreover, this cannot be changed using Customizer options or some code snippet that we could provide. To change this feature to your website, the best practice is to create your own child theme and override the template.
For more about creating child themes, please read the following post:
If you have never done this before, we recommend you to require the services from a nearby web developer or from Envato Studio freelancers (https://studio.envato.com/explore/websites-programming). This web platform gives you access to developers who have already experience with theme customizations, and for very competitive prices.
Best regards,
