Elementor page editing problem

    Hi guys,
    we’re using your fabulous theme on our website (https://www.skipperando.com)

    We’d like to use elementor to create and edit our pages. We setup your Gwangi Elementor plugin, but
    nothing changed, even if we hit “Elementor full width page or Elementor canva” as a template page.

    It still loading on the left sidebar or it starts elementor waiting page and we
    can’t edit page in any way.

    Is it possibile to solve this huge problem? Is it possible to use Elementor Pro (when
    we setup it everything changed)

    I’d like to add an information. We alread tried to deactive all plugins, leaving just required ones’ plus Elementor.
    It still doesnt’ work 🙁

    Could you confirm that you have selected “Elementor” as your primary page builder during the setup process please?

    If Elementor was not selected during the theme setup, the basic demo has certainly been imported. In conclusion, the Elementor demo was not installed. In this case, we really suggest you to reset your WordPress database using WP Reset (https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-reset/) and start fresh with our setup wizard.

    You can easily install the theme by relaunching the setup wizard, as it will programmatically do every steps for you.

    In case you don’t want to start fresh, we wrote an article to import the Elementor demo manually: Installing the Elementor Demo Version Manually.

    Hi there,
    thanks for your kindly answer. I’m not sure to have selected Elementor as primary builder.
    Considering that our website has already a lot of production data on it, what happens if we do that?

    Is this action safe to protect data and you guys guarantee us not to lose any kind
    of content?

    We thank you for your feedback. By relaunching the setup wizard, the members, forum and articles will be safe. However, new pages and new contents will be imported. Usually, we really suggest to reset the WordPress database using WP Reset (https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-reset/) and start fresh with our setup wizard. However, you’ll loose all your data.

    In that case, it is better to import the page manually using the article I send you in my previous answer.

    I just take a look and it seems this page is correctly imported. It’s odd that Elementor doesn’t work. My best guess is that your issue might probably caused by some conflicting third party plugin or some extra code snippet as we don’t encounter this issue with our demos.

    Could you deactivate all plugins that have not been installed with your theme during its setup and all existing custom PHP code snippets please? And then, could you confirm me that the issue is still persisting please?

    Please also make sure that you have the latest theme version and that all recommended plugins are up-to-date. You could also consider clearing all activated caching system as well as your browser cache before investigating any further.     Hi there,
    thanks for your request.

    We can’t use and run “wp-reset” because we’ve production content on our website.
    We should try to solve this huge problem by working while it’s live.

    We already tried to de-activate plugins but it seems nothing changed.
    For you guys, why elementor left panel is still loading? Would you like
    to enter in WordPress backend and check it ?

    Could you create a new website user for us please? If possible with administrator capabilities so we can make a quick check of your settings.
    You can post the user name and password in your next reply and mark it as private to keep this between us.

    Also, are we free to deactivate plugins for our tests? We invite you to make a backup before we investigate your website further in order to make sure you don’t loose any data if something goes wrong.

    After taking a look at your site, I noticed that it is currently using an outdated version of the theme. Could you please try to update your theme to the latest version to see if it fixes the issue?

    To update your theme, you can download and install the Envato Market plugin (https://envato.com/market-plugin/) on your WordPress site. Once the plugin is installed and activated, go to “Envato Market” in your admin menu and follow the instructions under “Activate Envato API Connection”. When this is done, you will see your purchased themes under the “Themes” tab and you should be able to update your theme from there by clicking the “Update available” button.

    Moreover, a lot of plugins are not up to date. Please make sure to update all the recommended plugins. Finally, you could also consider clearing all activated caching system as well as your browser cache before investigating any further. If you want to read more on what browser cache is and how to clear it, here is an article that might help you: How to Clear Internet Cache in Every Major Browser.

    Hi there,
    we updated themes and plugin, at least the one related to your theme. Other’s plugin we
    chose no to update; for example woocommerce.

    Elementor still doesn’t work, as you can see from the link below

    After some tests, it seems this issue is not related to our theme or any other plugins installed on your website.

    We think this issue might be caused by a resource issue or a setting on your server that needs to be adjusted. Unfortunately, the installation, setting or debugging of third party plugins and hosting server misconfigurations isn’t part of the support we will provide for our theme. We really suggest you to read this article from Elementor support: Elementor Widget Panel Not Loading.
