I’ve read about an elementor version in the comments and shown on the theme compatibility list. Where does one find the elemetor demo mentioned? Cheers.

Once the demo is imported, you will need to download Elementor and install it on your website to proceed to the next steps. Note that all pages were created with Gutenberg during the theme setup. After importing the demo, you’ll need to remove the right pages and replace them with Elementor template import. We have written an article in our documentation about this: Installing the Elementor Demo Version Manually.
Please follow the steps mentioned in this article and you will be able to edit your pages with Elementor in no time!
