Hi there!
When you are making a match by like, the buddypress notifications doesnt work as in the plugin description says if you select the option but you are being notify by email like a “friend request”. The notifications are just working when the users are doing match by superlike as in the plugin description says if you select the option but if you click on the superlike notification does not redirect to see the user profile “the action of the notification” so does means that the superlike notification does not redirecting you to the user profile.

We have just released a new update of MatchPress. Updating this plugin to the latest version should fix this issue.
After the update, the problem should now be fixed. However, you might still be seeing the issue because your browser cache is showing you an older version of the page (browsers do that to load pages faster). To see that the issue is resolved you will need to empty your browser cache and reload the page. If you want to read more on what browser cache is and how to clear it, here is an article that might help you: How to Clear Internet Cache in Every Major Browser.

We found how to solve this! 🙂
This notification is managed by BuddyPress. To deactivate that, I suggest you to go to Dashboard > Emails > All Emails and edit the New friendship request from template or delete it.
