Hello Themosaurus,
I’ve been trying edit the events page for since yesterday without success. When I click on “events” in the header it shows me my 2 test event posts but I cannot edit the page at all. There is no “edit page” option in the WP header, there is no page like it that exists in “Pages” in the Dashboard that I could customize it from, there’s nothing. I tried everything, I reactivated Elementor, created a new events page with the same slug that this events page uses and published it to see if it updates anything, nothing works. I spent a consider amount of time checking out “Customize” in the website to see if there was anything I could find in Events Calendar settings but I found none. I thought maybe I was going insane from all the time I spent building it and I maybe missed it out somewhere but that option just doesn’t appear to exist when I go back to appearance>customize.
Take a look at the URL in the first screenshot.

“events” slug right? So I created a new page under that slug that doesn’t appear anywhere in Pages within Dashboard, hoping maybe it’ll fix it and I can finally edit the events page, it didn’t solve it.
Here’s what I made, I have my slugs titled based on their title in the settings.
https://gyazo.com/2b1a3ee42b0139c67ed04fbf13a66e7eYou’d think you could easily customize an events page with a “Unlimited site customization” theme. But when I published this Elementor page under that slug, and I went back to the Dashboard>Pages and click on “View” on the page “Events, it redirects me to the events page in the first screenshot and I see that goat.
What are my options? I deleted the Events Calendar plugin to see it could maybe make the page disappear, since it did come with the theme and demo data, but I still see the goat and deactivating the events calendar plugin didn’t solve the problem.
Thank you for your time and I hope this case will be solved quickly. Happy Holidays and Happy New Year.
Sincerely,
KonstaDecember 31, 2023 at 09:36 #46637@roboraptor- 0 Topics

Hi konst_a,
Thank you for buying our theme. We hope it will meet all your expectations! 🙂
Please be aware that you cannot edit the Events page, not with the free version of The Events Calendar. This free plugin don’t has any setting to customize this page, that’s how it works. However, we added some features in the customizer : Customize > The Events Calendar > Events page.
Hope this will help you.

Also, I’d like to add that if it’s not possible, because I don’t see that it’s possible to customize the events page in appearance>customizer or events settings, if you could help me with removing this page completely because when I deactivated the plugin it was still there when I tried to create my own events page with the same slug. It seems to be a theme issue.

Hi konst_a,
Just to clarify, the free version of The Events Calendar generates the events page automatically, and customization options for it are limited. The pro version, however, allows you to create your own Events page with additional settings available at Dashboard > Events > Settings.
Remember, the theme deals with the overall presentation and style, while plugins contribute functionalities. If you need assistance with the standard Events page, I recommend reaching out to The Events Calendar support team: theeventscalendar.com/support. For their plugin-specific queries, they would be the experts.
Armadon enhances the visual style of the calendar but doesn’t alter the standard features or introduce new ones. If you have questions about using Armadon theme features, feel free to create a new ticket, and we’ll gladly assist you.
Thanks for your understanding.
