Up::0Integrate FB via proper code option, not just via the plugin.
Doing so will extend the option to see ‘friends who like this or who have connected’ and expand on the profiles and include the ‘messenger’ button aside the profile display perhaps.
FB eloquently provides such options, such as the common ‘view friends who like this page option’.
When login with FB via the site, can see all their friends also using the site and can make contact with them if they wish. Similar to what LinkedIn does.
Will not request them to import their list at all or bulk invite friends… but only be able to make the connection between who they know using it as an immediate way to kickstart initial growth.
They can immediately make contact with them in the same manner that FB provides in seeing their profile and the messenger button will appear next to it.
Just as fb lists friends who like this page, we will list it in a similar manner as ‘frineds who are apart of our community and using this app’ presenting to them the buttons to select to make contact.

The more successful your clients sites, the more virality Gwangi gets 🙂
Simple things like this I think make a difference.
Unless there’s a plugin which provides something like this, I reccomend it as a future addition.

Hi There,
Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention and we really appreciate your recommendation. It would be indeed very nice to make Gwangi more social and more viral using some features from the Facebook API. ?
However, heavily coded features like the one you’re describing are outside the scope of a WordPress theme and should be placed in a plugin, as they are part of what we call Plugin Territory (https://code.tutsplus.com/tutorials/the-concept-of-plugin-territory-in-wordpress–cms-25083).
Furthermore, please note that your feature request is related with the improvement of BuddyPress and the integration made with Facebook, not our theme. As theme authors, feature development for third party plugins isn’t part of the support we will provide.
To go further, we invite you to inform the plugin authors of your request on their support forums:
https://buddypress.org/support/We remain available to discuss new feature requests related with the use of your theme.

You’re welcome. ?
Thank you for sharing some many great ideas. Let’s hope that some plugin developer bring this feature to BuddyPress in the future. We’ll be glad to support it with our theme.
