Hi there,
Looking for some help…
Have installed GeomyWP and have managed to get the search results to work as in, it displays a map. Success.
What I’m struggling with is that on a users profile in Buddypress, the location form doesn’t load and as such, people can’t type in their address, save or confirm it for results to then display on a map. I’ve attached a picture so you can see what I mean
I appreciate that neither buddypress nor Geomywp are part of whats been built however hoping to get this functionality working as part of the reason for purchase.
any help would be super appreciated! Thank you

Hi James,
Thank you for buying our theme. We hope it will meet all your expectations! 🙂
To manage the location field, you need an extra plugin: BP xProfile Location
Please make sure that you have filled in the right Google Maps API key to be allowed to used its service with BP xProfile Location. The plugin author wrote a tutorial to help you go through this step by step:
For more about BP xProfile Location, you can also try to reach the plugin authors. They will be more informed and better suited to help you : https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/bp-xprofile-location/

Smashing – really appreciate the quick reply and hoping you may be able to lend a hand further.
I have downloaded the plugin BP xProfile Location. Installed and Activated.
I have gone to Settings, Buddypress, Options and entered in the API key. (Also, have Maps Javascript / Places & Geolocation enabled in Google Developer).
I am still getting the same loading. I am going to enquire from them too but if there’s any suggestions, greatly appreciate it

Ah – Fixed it – for anyone needing this – Only works with Google API for the profile location to be loaded and saved
