You might be interested in using a third party plugin to create allow member exchanging gift with each other. Some options exist on WordPress main site:
https://wordpress.org/plugins/search/buddypress+gift/However, these plugin are currently unsupported and untested with Gwangi.
We might integrate one of them if more Gwangi community members upvote this request.

Sorry to read about that.
Unfortunately, there is not many solutions that we can suggest. As you may already know, as theme authors, we integrate our themes with requested plugins. However, we rarely create new BuddyPress features from scratch. If no plugin exists to fulfill your request, we will have to wait.But don’t lose hope. Maybe another community member will suggest a nifty plugin and other will upvote this request. We can still do this integration when the time comes.
