Hi.
Let’s see if they could help me. When I mount the page configure login with ajax but I see that it gives problems to restore the conrraseña. I have seen that they recommend using Grimlock login and I have it fixed but I do not know how to make it work. I have uninstalled login with ajax but I do not know what to do to get Grimlock login, now the menu entry buttons point to a page called enter where the ajax shortcode was before but I do not know how to point it to the Grkmlock or show the area register.
Thanks you

Hi @xailaes,
Grimlock login does not require any settings. This plugin will display the standard WordPress login form, styled with your theme options (please see attached). Gwangi will also display and style the WP login form in your default register page.
If you’ve removed Login With AJAX, it’s best to remove all pages and menu items related with this plugin. To redirect to the default login form in your menu, you can use the standard login link provided by BuddyPress in the menu panels. If you don’t see the BuddyPress box, first make sure the BuddyPress plugin is activated and then look under the Screen Options to make sure the related checkbox is enabled.
Best,

Hi
I do not appear in the mené those buddypress options. I have buddypress installed but I do not know what add-on you are referring to. How can I configure it so that it appears in the menu?
I have removed everything from the ajax and deleted the pages
Thanks you

They do not need to answer because I’ve already figured out how to make buddypress appear on the menu. Thank you very much for your help on the start with Grimlock

Hi @xailaes,
We’re very sorry. Unfortunately, as Grimlock Login is only providing styling with theme options to default WP login forms, this plugin doesn’t handle any redirection. You can either add one of the following plugin, which will handle redirecting after login or logout (or both):
- BuddyDev Logout Redirect: https://buddydev.com/plugins/bpdev-logout-redirect/
- BP Redirect to Profile: https://wordpress.org/plugins/bp-redirect-to-profile/
- Login and Logout Redirect: https://fr.wordpress.org/plugins/login-and-logout-redirect/
- BuddyPress Redirect: https://wbcomdesigns.com/downloads/buddypress-redirect/
Another solution might be to keep Login With AJAX to only handle redirecting, which is obviously not recommended but still possible. In that case, simply reactivate the plugin and go to “Settings > Login With Ajax”. There, under “Redirection Settings”, you will be able to set the URL that you wish to redirect them to.
Usually, we won’t recommend using both Grimlock Login and Login With AJAX as they almost serve a similar purpose (styling the login forms) but in your case, Login With Ajax will make the login experience a bit smoother using Ajax and it will also provide the redirection needed. On the other hand, Grimlock Login will keep on handling the styling for default WP login forms, when -and only when- they’re visited by your members.
We made sure in previous version to prevent them from clashing with each other. If you find any issue, we’ll fix it ASAP.
