Hi,
I have a fresh install of wordpress and Cera.
When I write something in Buddypress it’s ok. But when I try to comment it is not possible.
This is the error I get in console:——————————————————–
“POST https://mysite/blog/wp-admin/admin-ajax.php 403
XMLHttpRequest.send @ catcher.js:197
send @ jquery.min.js?ver=3.5.1:2
ajax @ jquery.min.js?ver=3.5.1:2
s.ajax.s.ajax @ jquery-migrate.min.js?ver=3.3.2:2
S.<computed> @ jquery.min.js?ver=3.5.1:2
(anonymous) @ buddypress.min.js?ver=7.0.0:1
dispatch @ jquery.min.js?ver=3.5.1:2
v.handle @ jquery.min.js?ver=3.5.1:2”
——————————————————When I disable Grimlok for Buddypress I am again able to comment.
Thank you for your help.

Hi @byevas,
Thank you for buying our theme. We hope it will meet all your expectations! 🙂
We’re sorry to read you’re facing this issue with your website.
Our best guess is that your issue might probably caused by some conflicting third party plugin or some extra code snippet as we don’t encounter this issue with our demos.
Could you deactivate all plugins that have not been installed with your theme during its setup and all existing custom PHP code snippets please? And then, could you confirm me that the issue is still persisting please?
Can you tell us which version of BuddyPress are you using? Please also make sure that you have the latest theme version and that all recommended plugins are up-to-date. Finally, you could also consider clearing all activated caching system as well as your browser cache before investigating any further.
Thank you.

Hi, @themodactyl
As I’ve written in my first post I am making a clean install.
I don’t have any third-party plugins installed. (except those installed by your theme).
I don’t have a caching plugin activated.
I have tried clearing the cache.
All the modules are up to date.Buddypress is 7.0
Grimlock is 1.3.8
Grimlock for Buddypress is 1.3.10Thank you.

You’re welcome! We’ll do as fast as we can.
If you’re in a hurry with your project, you could always patch this issue yourself by applying the following fix:
https://buddypress.trac.wordpress.org/changeset/12735/trunk/src/bp-templates/bp-legacy/buddypress/activity/entry.phpThe file that’s need to be updated is
YOUR-DOMAIN/wp-content/plugins/grimlock-buddypress/templates/activity/entry.php
on line 114. Obviously, it is not recommended to manually edit plugin files but you do not have any other solution, you can do so as your changes will be erased by ours as soon as the update is released.Best,

Hi @byevas,
We have just released a new update of Grimlock for BuddyPress. Updating this plugin to the latest version should fix this issue.
After the update, the problem should now be fixed. However, you might still be seeing the issue because your browser cache is showing you an older version of the page (browsers do that to load pages faster). To see that the issue is resolved you will need to empty your browser cache and reload the page. If you want to read more on what browser cache is and how to clear it, here is an article that might help you:
