    Hi,

    1) Reading this thread:https://support.themosaurus.com/forums/topic/hero-not-translatable/,In order to translate Hero I tried to find theme_mods_gwangi and then hero_title,hero_subtitle,hero_text.
I did it in wp admin menu WPML–>string translation (screenshot 1).but I could n’t find them. Please let me know where can I see them.
2)In order to translate the hero, I went to WPML–>string translation–>grimlock-hero and translate each string (screenshot 2).
but the form search on the home page is still not translated
3)I have read all. the document you recommend fo translating a website and I also translate your theme and buddy press by poedit and upload files in wp-content/languages/themes/ and wp-content/languages/plugins/
There are still parts of the profile page that are in English (not translated) when I switch to the other language. (screenshot 3)
    Regards

    Hi @elaheh,

    1. The following options are parts of theme_mods_gwangi, not grimlock-hero. I know it might sound confusing but it’s the only way that WPML will allow to translate the content of your Hero also. Otherwise, it will only translate strings shown to the admin like “Button link” etc.
      (Please see attached.)
    2. The strings that you’re looking for need to be translated from the BP Search Profile plugin. That plugin doesn’t provide a POT file, so we created one with all the strings from that plugin which you can download here:
      https://files.themosaurus.com/bp-profile-search/bp-profile-search.pot

Once you have translated the strings you need, you should have a bp-profile-search-en_US.mo and bp-profile-search-en_US.po file that you will place in the wp-content/languages/plugins directory of your site. For other languages than English, please replace en_US from the file name by the language code of your choice, for instance fr_FR for french.

    3. Can you confirm that you have BuddyPress Multilingual also activated on your website please? Maybe activating this plugin will solve your issue.

Please keep us updated if this helped you with the translation of your website.

    Hi @Oliver,
    Thanks for your prompt reply.
I have solved the first issue and almost the third one.
Regarding issue No2, I have download the POT file you provided. But I could not find the strings That I was looking for on that file. I am looking for these strings from the search form on home page: “looking for a”, “from”, “to”, “submit”.
I could manage to find the last three of them through String translation but still didn’t find “looking for a”.
    Regards

    Hi @elaheh,

I see. The “You’re looking for” string is part of the text contained in the Hero. (Please see attached.)

I suggest that you translate it as you will do for the rest of the Hero values.
