I want to add a custom image or the primary gradient color in every blog post header. Currently, when I activate the header layout for blog posts it shows the Featured image. Can I add a custom image for the Single post’sOctober 21, 2021 at 08:44 #36120
You can change the background color in Customize > Appearance > Header > Style. Please find the attached screenshot.
Be aware that all the headers will have this gradient and the background images will not be visible anymore.
Concerning the articles images in the header, I’m afraid this is standard design with our theme. As this is not breaking the website, changing this is considered customization work. Unfortunately, this is a service that we do not provide. We only share snippet only to solve issues with our theme. Any further request for CSS snippets will have to be part of a defect that needs to be fixed urgently. No snippets will be shared otherwise.
If you want to go further with the customization of your website, we advise that you hire a freelancer to do it for you.
If you’re on a tight budget, we recommend you to require the services from Envato Studio freelancers (https://studio.envato.com/explore/websites-programming). This web platform gives you access to developers who have already experience with theme customizations, and for very competitive prices.
Thank you for your understanding.October 21, 2021 at 16:09 #36151
I truly understand your concern. But in my opinion, this is a feature that should be available as I have got this feature in Blocky pro, Kadence pro, Essentials theme, and Square type. So it’s quite unusual for me not to have that feature.
Also another thing it’s lagging the option to set custom aspect ratio for the blog pages grid. As well as the gradient color overlay that doesn’t allow me to pop my actual design in the post grid.
I hope the team will look at these features in the roadmap. Thank you so much 🙂October 21, 2021 at 20:24 #36162
