    How to hide page title area on a particular page

    Removed the title with this:

    .page-id-2418 .entry-title {display: none;}

    But the area is now white. How to remove the whole area left behind (attached)?

    Hi @abourne,

    If we’re not mistaken, you wish to create a new landing page for your site, explaining its best feature. If that’s what you’re try to do, there’s a simpler way to create that sort of pages, without the hassle of hiding bits with custom CSS code.

    First, you can remove the Header from your page by editing it, and changing the template to “Homepage Template: Minimal”. It will also make the bottom part disappear, replacing it by the Homepage widget area and the widgets displayed on your homepage. Then, simply override the homepage widget area to create a new one, like suggested in the following post:

    Creating Widgetized Pages

    Finally, just migrate your existing widgets from your overridden Before Content area to your new overridden Homepage area.

    It should solve your issue.

    Please also note that you can repeat this process and create as many landing pages as you wish this way… ?

    Regards,
