Hi,
Thank you for creating a great theme and features!
I’m using the Gwangi theme to make a datig site for seniors.
Among them, there were four things I wanted you to teach me.Please tell me how to translate it into Japanese. I summarized it in the following google drive URL.
Please check when you have time.

*I am using google translate.
I’m sorry if it’s a strange sentence…Best regards,

Hi Mania0905,
Thank you for buying our theme. We hope it will meet all your expectations! 🙂
I understand that you want to translate the BP Profile Search form on your homepage. To know how to translate your website, this article from our documentation might catch your attention:
Several strings that you’re looking for need to be translated from the BP Search Profile plugin. That plugin doesn’t provide a POT file, so we created one with all the strings from that plugin which you can download here:
https://files.themosaurus.com/bp-profile-search/bp-profile-search.potOnce you have translated the strings you need, you should have a
bp-profile-search-your-language-code.mo
andbp-profile-search-your-language-code.po
file that you will place in thewp-content/languages/plugins
directory of your site. Then, please replace from the file name by the language code of your choice, for instanceen_US
for English spoken in the US orfr_FR
for French. To make sure that you don’t run in any other similar translation issues, I suggest you to translate also the following plugins:
– Grimlock
– Grimlock for BuddyPress
– Grimlock for bbPressThey each contain a POT file that can be translated. For instance, in Grimlock, you will find it under the following directory:
wp-content/plugins/grimlock/languages/grimlock.pot
As mentioned above, we recommend to rename both translated files
grimlock-your-language-code.mo
andgrimlock-your-language-code.po
. Then, please replace from the file name by the language code of your choice, for instanceen_US
for English spoken in the US orfr_FR
for French. For those, the best practice is also to move the files in the plugins languages directory of your whole website:
wp-content/languages/plugins
directory. There, you will find the translation for other plugins. This will also ensure that the files will not be lost during any future update.
Thank you for bring these other issues to our attention. We’re glad to answer any question related with the setup of our theme.
However, it is very difficult for us to provide the best support possible and to keep track of issues and their resolution if so many questions are asked in the same topic. Moreover, it’s easier for us to share the resolution for a single issue with other members of our community facing the same problem.
So, could you split your questions into different topics, please? One question = one topic.
By doing this, you will be making a great contribution to this forum, and we thank you very much for that!Thank you.
