As you know, we have been inspired by the way the most popular dating sites work.
By default, it is not possible to unlink someone. However, it is possible to hide liked members in the MatchPress setting. I suggest you go to Dashboard > Settings > BuddyPress > MatchPress and check the “Hide liked users from directory” feature. Please find the attached screenshot.

Mmm ok… I do not any dating app wheren you can not unmatch the users… But I suggest like a feature request. Because if the users are making a match and then they do not like each other and the other one is keeping testing the other one and they do not “unmatch”/eliminate funcionality, the other user will get frustrued and unsafe in the community…
However, you already develop the cancel friendship button, I guess that it will just enforced to cancel the math using the same button. But not clue anything about code… Anyway, thank you so much for the support but I will ask for a refund, maybe in a few months I will try it again.

This topic has also been tagged “Accepted” to notified others that we have moved this task into our to do list. We have recently released an update of MatchPress that allow a user to unmake a like and much more. Updating this plugin to the latest version should add this feature to your website.
After the update, any integration problems should be fixed. However, you might still be seeing an issue because your browser cache is showing you an older version of the page (browsers do that to load pages faster). To see that the issue is resolved you will need to empty your browser cache and reload the page.
