How Can I have new members First pay for their membership through PMP and then after they paid redirect them to the buddypress registration page?
Or Start with the registration page and have them select the level at the end?
Either way is fine.
As of now, The registration page is set up with the Buddy Press Registration. So when they would register, they wouldn’t pay anything. And wouldn’t get the proper level access.

Hi Combinc,
Unfortunately, we have no clue. 🤔
Please note that this issue is related with the use of Paid Memberships Pro and BuddyPress, not with the use of your theme. It’s best if you try to reach the plugin authors as they will be more informed and better suited to help you.
To go further, we invite you to post your request on their support forums: paidmembershipspro.com/support/

Hey there,
So my brain has being thinking a way around this. I am hoping you may give some guidance to this.
So Within the PMP checkout there are the emails of saying everything active etc etc. So when the member “logs in ‘ the First Time, It directs them to their Activity page not the Profile.
Is there a way to have them directed to the registration form? Or would this be redundant? I like the registration form because it has the member to answer all the “required” profile questions and automatically fills in their profile.
Or is there a way to have a pop up with instructions? I’m just brain storming here.

Hi Combinc,
We recommend that you use Login With Ajax as it can help you with redirecting users to a page after they have logged in. Simply activate the plugin and go to “Settings > Login With Ajax”. There, under “Redirection Settings”, you will be able to set the URL that you wish to redirect them to.
Usually, we won’t recommend using both Grimlock Login and Login With AJAX as they almost serve a similar purpose (styling the login forms) but in your case, Login With Ajax will make the login experience a bit smoother using Ajax and it will also provide the redirection needed. On the other hand, Grimlock Login will keep on handling the styling for default WP login forms, when -and only when- they’re visited by your members.
Please note I doubt that you’ll be able to redirect to the BuddyPress registration form as the user has already been registered.
Concerning the popup, there are plenty of plugins that might help you achieve that. i think this plugin might catch your attention: Popup Maker.
Note that this plugin hasn’t been tested yet with our theme. However, all should work fine. In case you face any style issue with this plugin, feel free to report it to us on this forum. 🙂Hope this will help you find the best solution.
