Dear Gwangi Support Team,
I am experiencing an issue with the Gwangi theme affecting some core functionalities of BuddyPress and bbPress. When I activate the Gwangi theme, the forum subscribe and favorite functionalities stop working. However, when I switch to the Twenty Twenty-Three or Twenty Twenty-Four theme, these features work perfectly.
I have also tried deactivating other plugins to check for conflicts, but the issue persists.
Could you please help me troubleshoot this issue or provide guidance on how to resolve it? Your assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Muhammad,
Thank you for reaching out! 🙂
We tested this on a brand-new demo but couldn’t reproduce the issue. Could you please confirm that everything is up to date, including the Grimlock plugins and the theme? Also, could you let us know which version of the theme you are currently using?
Looking forward to your response!

Thank you for your response.
I have confirmed that both the theme and the Grimlock plugins are up to date. I am currently using:
Gwangi Theme Version: 2.4.5
Grimlock Plugin Version: 1.6.1
Thank you for your response.I have tested this on my local machine with the updated theme and plugins, but the issue persists.
Could you please provide further guidance on resolving this?
Looking forward to your support.

Thank you for your feedback. It’s best if we take a quick look at this…
Could you create a new website user for us please? If possible with administrator capabilities so we can make a quick check of your settings. You can post the user name and password in your next reply and mark it as private to keep this between us.
Also, are we free to deactivate plugins for our tests? In this case, I invite you to make a backup before we investigate your website further in order to make sure you don’t loose any data if something goes wrong.
Thank you.

Hi Muhammad,
I think there might be an issue with your server. I activated a standard theme like twenty-twenty-five, with just bbPress plugin activated. It seems I can’t access to forum, the Forums, Topics and Replies tabs are not displayed in the dashboard.
Please find the attached screenshots of a brand new demo we installed, and your staging website.
I suggest you to check with your host provider. Please keep us up to date.

Hi Muhammad,
I understand your concern, but I haven’t been able to reproduce the issue on your staging website. I deactivated all plugins and switched to the Twenty Twenty-Five theme, keeping only bbPress active. To start, the forum tabs aren’t displayed, this suggests that the problem might be related to a server configuration.
To troubleshoot further, I need full access to the bbPress features. Could you please contact your hosting provider to investigate this issue on your server? Once they resolve it, I’ll be happy to test again and see if we can reproduce the problem.
Thank you for your understanding.

Hi Muhammad,
We haven’t been able to determine why the bbPress tab isn’t showing in the dashboard. Despite testing with all plugins deactivated (except bbPress) and using a standard theme, the issue persists, which suggests it may be server-related.
I recommend reaching out to your hosting provider to investigate further. Please keep us updated on what you find.

Hi M. Monib,
Thank you for keeping us up to date. However, I don’t see what we could do to help you. This file should be located in bbPress plugin, a plugin we did not developed. This plugin is used in our demo, therefore compatible, but we are not responsible for it. Neither our theme or Grimlock plugins are related to this issue. I really think this is a server issue, but it might be related to bbPress itself.
Did you reach your host provider ? Is he isn’t able to help you, I advise you to reach out bbPress team. They will be more able to help you with their plugin.
Thank you for your undertsanding.
