    Hi,

    I use the last version of Gwangi with premium extensions (PMPRO, WPRocket, SECUPRESS)
    I also use BuddyPress Restrict and the addons of PMPRO for buddypress.
    The private message is not working anymore (the message is not created)

    I try with admin / members , members / friends…
    It was ok in the past (update of theme, WPRocket, Secupress…????)

    Can you check?

    Did you try to disable these 2 plugins to see if the problem persists?
    If this is the case, I advise you to contact the support of these plugins, they will be very efficient to answer to your concern.

    Moreover, having two plugins that “restrict” BuddyPress features can certainly have some negative effects.

    We remain available for all support requests related with the use of your theme.

    Hi Jean Pascal,

    I disable the two plugins for buddypress, it is the same result. Public message works.
    Does the last version of buddypress could be the guilty?

    After testing with standard WP theme, i confirm that it is not Gwangi the guilty.

    I deactivate and reactivate private message in buddypress options. The message change and ask for rights instead of no sending message.
    I try to play with the two plugins for restrict access and I discover an error message with buddypress restrict.
    As it is chinese for me, I will ask plugin’s dev if there is a solution.

    Yes, regarding this very specific issue caused by a third party plugin, I think it’s best if you contact its authors. They’ll be better informed to help you.

    Please make sure to mention the two plugins used and seemingly conflicting with each other. And don’t hesitate to provide us with more feedback once they’ve helped you to solve this issue. It might help others.

    Hi Olivier,

    After contact the author of BP Restrict, he tells me that he upload a library with cdn and that it could be down…
    My loving friend GOOGLE find the solution:
    redux

    With this (upload as extension in WP) redux framework is directly on website. Two option (permanently use or use if cdn down).
    Private message are back but I have a small issue (informative message that I can not view message with my account). Maybe a mis config of PMPRO or BP RESTRICT.
