On the main page I have a section for a knowledge base with a menu item that goes to /knowledge-base, but it returns a 404. It looks like install did not include the Echo KB plugin. I installed it myself, but it is not using the theme styling. How do I fix this?

I fixed this by also installed the Grimlock for Knowledge Base for Documents and FAQs plugin and following additional steps at this link: https://doc.themosaurus.com/installing-knowledge-base-for-documentation-and-faqs/

Hi Keith,
Thank you for your feedback. We’re glad to read you’ve been able to solve this! 🙂
We developed some additional plugins (Grimlock for Knowledge Base for Documents and FAQs, Grimlock for BuddyPress, Grimlock for the Events Calendar, etc). We didn’t choose to make all the style in the theme to keep it light. Each plugins needs his Grimlock plugin to be compatible with the theme. For exemple: if you don’t want to use BuddyPress, you don’t need the style of BuddyPress. Some theme authors include this style directly in the theme, we don’t. This would have slowed down your website, this is why we choose to work differently and include this style in a plugin. To apply the theme styles to Knowledge Base for Documents and FAQs, you need to install Grimlock for Knowledge Base for Documents and FAQs.
Please be aware that it’s more complicated than that, but I tried to explain you as clear as possible why you need the Grimlock compatibility plugin when using a third party plugin.
I really hope this will help you better understand how our theme works. Let me know if you need more explanations. 🙂
Kind regards,
