Is not possible to choose in wich directory you want to layout the matchpress profiles? It is looking like I just can choose the default buddypress layout. I will add a screenshot.

Can you please install Member Swipe for BuddyPress plugin like suggested in the notification in your screenshot? This plugin will add two more layouts. 🙂

it is still not working. I created this page with this shortcode: [bps_directory template=”members/index-swap”] and I am selecting the swipe coursel layout and doesnt work. I will add the screenshot. And also it is afecting to all my buddypress default directory.

Here are some specifications:
- MatchPress: This plugin works only in the directory. When activating this plugin and selecting the right layout in MatchPress option, the plugin works automatically and requires no shortcode.
- Member Swipe for BuddyPress: This plugin adds the swipe feature to your website. It allows you to use the Member Swipe Block in your page. Moreover, it allows you to use two more layouts in your directory in MatchPress settings.
Please be aware that the shortcode you used is managed by BuddyPress. BuddyPress allows user tu use this shortcode to create a member swap. However, this feature is extremely limited, this is why we developed ours with Member Swipe plugin and MatchPress.
Can you please remove this shortcode from your directory? Then, could you made sure that the Swipe Carousel is selected in Dashboard > Settings > BuddyPress > MatchPress > Layout? Please find the attached screenshots.

The directory is a feature of BuddyPress. By default, there only is one directory and MatchPress works on this directory.
However, with Member Swipe for BuddyPress plugin, the plugin we developed, you’ll be able to display a member swipe on every page you want using the Swipe Directory block in Gutenberg. Please note that it will not be a directory, but you’ll be able to filter which members you would like to display using member profile fields.

the problem is that I created a differents target directory and matchpress is affecting to all of them… and I would like to have the opportunity to display the Swipe Directory in just one page. Is not possible? maybe creating a different directory template?

Unfortunately, this feature is not available with MatchPress and to our knowledge, there is no plugin that you could install to add this feature to your website. We think that this feature requires custom development work on BuddyPress plugin and MatchPress plugin. In consequence, our recommendation is to hire a freelancer to do this job for you.
