    Hello,

My logged out menu isn’t updating. I have successfully updated every other menu in the theme without any issue but the logged out menu isn’t working.

More specifically the registration link isn’t working. I’ve updated the menu in appearance -> menu with a custom link. I’ve ensured that the menu is also updated in appearance -> customize -> menu and it’s updated properly. I’ve cleared my cache using WP Rocket, updated all the permalinks, and given it two days to update. Nothing is working.

Every other menu instantaneously updates but this one just doesn’t work.

Why is this not working and how do I fix it?

    Thank you

To add a little more clarity, I’m using the memberpress plugin to manage processing payments my membership subscriptions. I need to have my registration buttons link to my memberpress checkout instead of my buddypress registration. I also need to have a singular login button to ensure that when a user logs in they are authenticated both on the buddypress side and the memberpress side to ensure full functionality.

    Hi Jared,

Thank you for reporting this issue.

Please be aware that, when the users are logged out, you have two solutions to allow him to log in or register.

    1. Login and Register buttons : By default, just a login and register buttons are displayed. You cannot edit them as it uses the register page of BuddyPress and the standard login page of WordPress.
    2. Use a drop-down menu : This option allow you to use the “Logged Out Users menu. To use this, you have to disable the standard buttons in Customize > Appearance > Login and uncheck the option “Display login and register buttons in the navbar” This way, you can choose on which page redirect.

Hope this will help you. 🙂

    Cheers,
