    Hello,

I would like to make intranet website private unless logged in. I used the plugin referred in article here: https://doc.themosaurus.com/how-to-make-your-site-completely-private/private-site-settings/ But this doesn’t seem to be working for Cera theme. Can you please help?

    Hi @surya1,

It’s best if we take a quick look at this…

Could you create a new website user for us please? If possible with administrator capabilities so we can make a quick check of your settings.
You can post the user name and password in your next reply and mark it as private to keep this between us.

Also, are we free to deactivate plugins for our tests? In this case, I invite you to make a backup before we investigate your website further in order to make sure you don’t loose any data if something goes wrong.

    Thank you.

@surya1 I see that My Private Website (https://wordpress.org/plugins/jonradio-private-site/) is missing from server because it has not been installed yet. (Please see attached.)

You should first install and activate this plugin, and then go to the plugin settings page (Settings > Private Site) in order to adjust options according to your needs.

If you need more help, this tutorial seems to explain every steps in great details:
    https://www.wpbeginner.com/beginners-guide/how-to-make-your-wordpress-blog-completely-private/

This should do the trick. 🙂

Thanks for checking on that, Oliver!

I did not try the plugin results in incognito mode. Probably why I couldn’t see it work.

    Thanks again!
