hello, your MatchPress plugin displays all the website members even to the people that are not registered to the website and it does not take count of the privacy setting in buddy press.
Plus we can’t change any options on the MatchPress plugin as it is said on this page : https://doc.themosaurus.com/setting-matchpress-options/
There is simply no options for MatchPress.
Any help ?
Thanks

Hi Icewoot,
Thank you for using MatchPress! 🙂
MatchPress is not responsible for that, as members are public with BuddyPress, by default. To hide members from non logged users, you have to use a third party plugin like Paid Memberships Pro. This compatible plugin allows you to restrict content or areas of your website that will only be displayed to premium members. Plenty of PMPro add-ons are available on the author website to go further if necessary, including one for BuddyPress restrictions.
To know precisely which features will be restricted from your BuddyPress website, it’s best if you ask directly to the plugin authors. They will be more informed and better suited to answer you:
paidmembershipspro.com/contactPlease note that no premium plugin or add-on has been included in our theme package. Our theme is compatible with different premium plugins but they have to be purchased separately.

Hi, sorry but no, BuddyPress has a feature to hide members to non-logged members of the website and it’s working great!
But MatchPress bypass that and shows the members to everyone by the Swipe-Members page.
Thanks for the help!

Hi Icewoot,
Thank you for your feedback.
Could you show me an example, please ? Or explain to me how can I have this issue ? I tried on a fresh installation with BuddyPress and MatchPress, bith up to date. I checked the same option you told me about. However, With or Without MatchPress, I can’t access the directory nor a user’s profile. So, everything seems to work on my end. 🤔
Could you share screenshots, please ?
