Required: Documentation on how to get the Member Swipe block to look and function as or identically to the Swipe Card Stack directory.
I need to retain the default BuddyPress directory due to the diverse requirements of users when searching for other members. Unfortunately, that means I cannot utilize the Swipe Card Stack directory layout option in the MatchPress settings. While I haven’t found any settings that will allow me to set the Member Swipe block to operate like the Card Stack, I know that it’s possible because you offer it as an option for the directories and I’ve verified that it works on my site. What I need is instructions on how to update the Member Swipe block via overriding a template, applying a filter, or whatever is required to get this working as intended.

Unfortunately, we do not know how you could achieve this and even if it is possible. Anyway, this feature requires custom development work. In consequence, our recommendation is to hire a developer to do this job for you.
We recommend you to require the services from Fiverr. This web platform gives you access to developers who already have experience with theme customizations, and for very competitive prices.

- Standard directories being replaced: On the MatchPress website, it is clearly stated: “Turn the BuddyPress directory into a swipeable stack card[…]”. Please find the attached screenshot.
- “I should be aware other functionality would be replaced”: Indeed, but we believe the sentence mentioned above in the first point answers to this concern.
- Compatible with BuddyPress: We think the first point also addresses this issue. It’s clearly stated on our website that the directory is replaced. Additionally, when visiting our demo, the standard directory URL is used to display the card stack: dating.matchpress.me/members
- Support: We apologize if our support hasn’t met your standards. Regarding broken links in the documentation, could you please specify the locations of the broken links you mentioned? We’ve added numerous articles, including one explaining how to obtain the Member Swipe feature: Adding Member Swipe to MatchPress. All articles can be found here. Regarding support, could you provide more details about what doesn’t meet your expectations? For the custom development question, we clarified that it falls outside the support scope and recommended consulting a developer for such customization. However, we’re still here to assist with using MatchPress.
