On the members directory if you click page 2 or 3 or 4 and then click on a member’s profile… If you click back…. It takes you to the first page rather than the current page. I mean if you are on page 10 and click on a member on that page and then click back it will take you to the first page and not the current page (10).
My developer tried to fix that and he said its un-fixable. When he tried it was breaking the website.
Please don’t give the Standard Response quoted below that I have been receiving for every question that I have.“Unfortunately, this seems to be the standard behavior with BuddyPress websites.
If you want to know the best way to change this, it’s best if you try to reach the plugin authors. They will be more informed and better suited to help you.”I feel the plugins that are part of your theme that you sell…. If there have issues you are the ones who are supposed to reach out to the Plugin Authors to fix the problem and then you fix your theme. That is what updates are for. Does it mean that if you have a million buyers and they encounter the same plugin problem that all of them need to line up at the Plugin Authors desk asking for help?? What is your responsibility when something that is part of your them doesnt work??

Hi @lanet99nakuru,
First of all, let’s be very clear on this: it is not part of our responsibility as we’re not the authors of those plugins. We’re theme authors and make our best effort to make our theme support a wide variety of plugins to help you quickly build your website.
But as you already know, BuddyPress is not mandatory to make our theme work. You could very well build your website using our theme without it. Not all use cases required BuddyPress.
On the other hand, I understand your frustration if you’re finding dated or missing even features from your social website. We’re facing the same problems and we have to work around those when building our demos, but we have chosen not to fix them because it is part of the BuddyPress core development team’s work, not ours.
You could consider buying Youzer and adding it to your website as it supported by our theme and offers more customization options for BuddyPress. For more, please visit the following pages:
https://youzer.kainelabs.com/To know precisely which features will be added your BuddyPress website and where exactly will the share buttons be displayed, it’s best if you ask directly to the plugin authors.
They will be more informed and better suited to help you:
https://codecanyon.net/item/youzer-new-wordpress-user-profiles-era/19716647/commentsIn case you were not able to achieve what you’ve described with Youzer… Yes, we think that the missing features requires custom development work. We’re sorry to inform you that we have already a lot on our plates with our themes only. So, we will not substitute ourselves for the BuddyPress core development team.
Thank you for your understanding.
Best,
