I found the following image somewhere in the forums (but relating to a different question) – however, I noticed the notifications in the menu and wanted to implement this myself in my menu – since it’s genius!
I did manage to find both the Vertical Navbar Top and Vertical Navbar Bottom in the widget area.
I tried out a few of the widgets (including the grimlock ones). I haven’t been able to make it work.Also couldn’t find anything about it in documentation, forums or anything (besides an old request from 2020).
How do I add this into my menu? 🙂

If I remember well, this feature is related to Social Articles plugin. But we think this plugin has been abandoned by his authors. So, we recommend you BuddyPress User Blog plugin. However, I don’t think this plugin has this specific feature. I suggest you to reach them, they might have a solution we don’t know of.
Note that BuddyPress User Blog is a premium plugin.
