    Hello Themosaurus!

    I’ve been playing around with the theme the last couple of days in order to find solutions to the small issues I’m having.
    When looking around the documentation, forum and the web for inspiration – I had no luck!

    I decided to gather a list of the things I’m running into right now instead og making several different posts (hope this is okey)!

    Here goes! …

    1. Group Type (labels) are not shown correctly and on the group directory and listings it even shows up twice.
    I could hide the bottom one with CSS if I wanted, but I want to make sure this is fixed within the code itself for future reference.

    2. The Member Type label is not shown next to the name on the social wall – isn’t this supposed to be shown here too?
    It does show correctly on the member directory and profile header – so all good there.

    3. I was looking for the LearnDash widget (on dashboard) for the “My Status” – like shown in the “Learn” demo, but couldn’t find anything.
    Do you guys have a code for this I can get copy/paste into a widget block for it to show up? https://ibb.co/gycV8Kg

    4. I’m having some issues with the LearnDash styling in general. It looks nothing like on the “Learn” demo.
    I get that this is “another” demo, but the setup/design should be similar especially when this is where the courses (LMS) are shown.
    I do have the LearnDash premium bundle (all plugins including Course Grid), and I’ve tried different things, online forums – but I can’t make it work and it looks broken.

    5. I seem to have some issues in general with the blog. I can’t seem to make other than the “Media/Image” Post Type show up correctly.
    Also the Paid Membership Pro is not showing up with great CSS/style on the blog when there are restrictions on the posts.

    6. Better Messages are not “highlighting” new messages that are coming in? – Nothing in bold or saying what message is the new one.
    I’m pretty sure this normally is a feature within the Better messages?

    7. I would love if you guys could help me with some CSS (hide the class) for the extra button I got from “BuddyPress Edit Activity”.
    I can’t seem to find the style or “redirect it to none” using Snippets within the theme. https://ibb.co/brRCCV5 (before) and https://ibb.co/KrF0Lk7 (after).

    8. The Event Calendar is showing up with the navigation arrows in the middle of the button (looks right in the demo). https://ibb.co/gzCr3fs

    9. In the forum, the hover on links are all dark and not visible – I cant seem to find the right place to fix these unless it damages some other hover on the site.

    10. I did install BuddyPress Polls on the site and I can’t seem to find the propper place to fix the poll icon – It should be in front of the name like the “sticky icon”.

    11. I noticed there is a size different in the site logo depending if people are logged in or not – This seems to be a bug, that needs fixed too.

    Hi Katrine,

    Thank you for reporting these issues.

    Concerning the first one, with the group type : We install a fresh demo, with all up-to-date plugins and theme. However, We can’t reproduce this issue. My best guess is that your issue might probably be caused by some conflicting third party plugin or some extra code snippet, as we don’t encounter this issue with our demos. Could you deactivate all plugins that have not been installed with your theme during its setup and all existing custom PHP code snippets please? And then, could you confirm me that the issue is still persisting, please?

    Please also make sure that you have the latest theme version and that all recommended plugins are up-to-date. Finally, you could also consider clearing all activated caching system as well as your browser cache before investigating any further. If you want to read more on what browser cache is and how to clear it, here is an article that might help you: How to Clear Internet Cache in Every Major Browser.

    Thank you for bringing these other issues to our attention. We’re glad to answer any question related to the use of our theme. However, providing the best support and keeping track of issues and their resolutions becomes challenging when multiple subjects are addressed in the same topic. Additionally, it’s more efficient for us to share the resolution for a single issue with other members of our community facing the same problem.

    I cleared both server/site cache and browser cache and cookies.

    To fix this, simply add the following code snippet to your website:

    .bp-group-custom-fields .grimlock-buddypress-group-types .badge{
      min-height:1rem;
    }

    To add this code snippet to your site, we recommend that you paste it to the Custom CSS panel of your WordPress Customizer. Just go to your dashboard and navigate to “Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS”.
    Pasting your code snippet there should do the trick for you.

    Also, it’s important to remember that we share snippet only to solve issues with our theme. Any further request for CSS snippets will have to be part of a defect that needs to be fixed urgently. No snippets will be shared otherwise.

    If you want to go further with the customization of your website, we advise that you require customization work.

    I still have a double-label in the header when entering the group itself, but I’ve just added the “display: none;” to that one for now and ignored it .. lol.. 😀
