Hello,
I have this notice with wordpress. What do you think about it and how to avoid it ?
Thank you.
Hi @billdjango,
Is that notice coming from your logs or did you find it displayed on your admin panel?
If you have already error logs to share, maybe you can post the complete description for the notice in your next private reply.If logging is not activated on your website yet, just turn WP_DEBUG to true, by pasting the following code lines in your wp-config.php file, just before the line that says ‘That’s all, stop editing! Happy blogging.’:
// Enable WP_DEBUG mode define( 'WP_DEBUG', true ); // Enable Debug logging to the /wp-content/debug.log file define( 'WP_DEBUG_LOG', true ); // Disable display of errors and warnings define( 'WP_DEBUG_DISPLAY', false ); @ini_set( 'display_errors', 0 );
More on this in the following topic: https://codex.wordpress.org/Debugging_in_WordPress
Finally, if you simply want to dismiss these kind of notices, you can turn your WP_DEBUG constant to false.

Hi @billdjango,
We’re sorry but we won’t be very much helpful with this issue. The
bp_nav
function is not used in our theme or in Grimlock for BuddyPress. It’s a deprecated function that is probably either used in one of your code snippets (added using the Code Snippets plugin) or one of your BuddyPress add-on.As this issue is related with the BuddyPress, it’s best if you try to reach the plugin authors. They will be more informed and better suited to help you.
To go further, we invite you to post your request on their support forums:
https://buddypress.org/support/We remain available for all support requests related with the use of your theme.
