Hi,
I make several feedbacks to the team:° Notifications, -whatever they are- go almost directly to “archived” status.
° It seems to me that there is an icon error by displaying a crossed out eye(1)
° the field that appears (2) has an illegible font until an item is selected. Also: I can unarchive/archive the notifications at will, but on the other hand there is no click action (no link in fact) which allows you to read or reread this one (3). It is therefore inaccessible to reading. How to change all this?
Thank you for your patience.

Hi Gil,
- Notifications are managed by BuddyPress plugin. I suggest you to report this issue to BuddyPress team.
- In English, it’s displayed “Unread” notifications. This is why there is a crossed eye. It’s indeed not really related when translated in French. We’ll take your feedback into consideration to use others icons that will be better suited in all languages. Thank you for reporting this Gil!
- This issue has already been reported by another user. These “windows” are managed by the browser and each browser manage differently the style. In fact, it’s mostly related to the style used on your computer (dark mode, light, …). We planned to investigate further to find out if there is a way to force the browser to use our theme style. We’ll be back to you as soon as we found a solution.
- You can read/unread notification by using the eye and bin icon of the right. Please find the attached screenshot.
Hope this will help you. 🙂
Cheers,

Hi Gil,
We have just released a new update of Grimlock. Updating this plugin to the latest version should fix this issue.
After the update, the problem should now be fixed. However, you might still be seeing the issue because your browser cache is showing you an older version of the page (browsers do that to load pages faster). To see that the issue is resolved you will need to empty your browser cache and reload the page. If you want to read more on what browser cache is and how to clear it, here is an article that might help you: How to Clear Internet Cache in Every Major Browser.
Kindest regards,
