Hello again, my favorite theme developers!
I have been having a strangely intermittent problem with certain page URLs not directing to the correct page, just to the 404 error page.
From what I’ve observed, sometimes the misdirect comes after a new Social Article is published. Usually editing the page info (erasing and retyping the same the url slug) fixes the problem. Recently this has no longer been working.
When I contacted my hosting service for troubleshooting, they advised I keep editing the URL slug and decided the problem was “theme related”.
The two pages I’ve found to be affected are the social articles page ( https://historforum.com/blog/ ) and the gamification user points/award page ( https://historforum.com/points-bank-badges/ ).
Any insight into what might be causing this problem?

Hi Lia,
Could you make sure that all your permalink structure is properly set? You can find out more about this by navigating to Settings > Permalinks.
Also, I would recommend to flush your rewrite rules as it looks like your website has a hard time to process URLs. To do this, you can simply re-save your permalinks settings (Settings > Permalinks) or install and activate Rewrite Rules Inspector (https://wordpress.org/plugins/rewrite-rules-inspector/) and flush your rules by going to Tools > Rewrite Rules.
