    Hello, so yesterday i installed Loco translate plug in so i can change some member profile texts and today i saw that my pages on my website won’t open.
    We need some help to solve this issue.

    i am trying to fix it from permalinks, i am changing the permalinks to plain and its kinda working but not for community page couse when permalinks are to plain buddypress isnt working, when i am switching back to postnames nothing is working anymore, i tried to deactivate all the plug ins but still doesnt work, i restore .htaccess File from cpanel with the :

    and ITS NOT WORKING….any ideas?

    Hi @tzem10, 🙂

    You did the right thing by changing the permalinks. I’m glad to read it helped you solve this issue with some pages.

    Concerning the BuddyPress pages, I suggest you to deactivate all plugins that have not been installed with your theme during its setup and all existing custom PHP code snippets please. This way, you will be able to confirm whether the problem persists or not.

    Please also make sure that you have the latest theme version and that all recommended plugins are up-to-date. Finally, you could also consider clearing all activated caching system as well as your browser cache before investigating any further. If you want to read more on what browser cache is and how to clear it, here is an article that might help you: How to Clear Internet Cache in Every Major Browser.

    Hello, i have tried to deactivate all the plugins but its not working, i have tried latterly everything that its out there.

    3. .htaccess File

    Could you create a new website user for us please? If possible with administrator capabilities so we can make a quick check of your settings.
    You can post the user name and password in your next reply and mark it as private to keep this between us.

    Also, are we free to deactivate plugins for our tests? In this case, I invite you to make a backup before we investigate your website further in order to make sure you don’t loose any data if something goes wrong.

    Can you please tell us which pages? Note that some pages can’t be edited with Elementor like the profile and the directory as these pages are created and managed by BuddyPress.

    Hi Nikos,

    Indeed, you can’t edit this pages wit Elementor as it is a standard page of BuddyPress. However, you can add a text above by using widgets. Note that the texte will be visible in all the pages of your website. To do so, click on Customizer > Widgets > Before Content and add any widget you need. Please find the attached screenshot.

    In case you would like to make it visible only in the directory, I suggest you to user the extension Easy Custom Sidebar plugin to replace the Before Content widget area on the Members page.

    As this is standard design with our theme and BuddyPress, changing this is considered customization work. Unfortunately, this is a service that we do not provide. If you want to go further with the customization of your website, we advise that you hire a freelancer to do it for you. If you’re on a tight budget, we recommend you to require the services from Envato Studio freelancers (https://studio.envato.com/explore/websites-programming). This web platform gives you access to developers who have already experience with theme customizations, and for very competitive prices.
