I think that since the last BuddyPress update (11.3.1) the “Post update” button in the BuddyPress activity feed has disappeared. Could this be a conflict with Cera? I don’t really know how to technically detect the problem.

BTW, do you use any external tool for BBpress support discussions? you have a very good integration visually (mark as solved, etc.).

    Hi Diego,

Thank you for reaching out. 🙂

My best guess is that your issue might probably be caused by some conflicting third party plugin or some extra code snippet as we don’t encounter this issue with our demos.

Could you deactivate all plugins that have not been installed with your theme during its setup and all existing custom PHP code snippets please? And then, could you confirm me that the issue is still persisting please?

Please also make sure that you have the latest theme version and that all recommended plugins are up-to-date. Finally, you could also consider clearing all activated caching system as well as your browser cache before investigating any further. If you want to read more on what browser cache is and how to clear it, here is an article that might help you: How to Clear Internet Cache in Every Major Browser.

    Thank you.

Thank you for your prompt response,

It is not a problem with the theme installation or any plugin I have recently installed. This website has been active for about a year and is always maintained with all recommended plugins and updated infrastructure, but I think since the last BuddyPress update today or yesterday it has caused this problem. That’s why I wanted to know if it can generate some kind of incompatibility with the theme.
I will try to investigate further and see if I can share more about it.

    Hi Diego,

    Thank you for your feedback.

We created a new installation with all plugins up to date but all is working fine from our side, this button is well displayed with BuddyPress 11.3.1. 🤔

In case you want us to take a look, don’t hesitate to send us your credentials in a private reply.
