    Hello,

I don’t understand why, when I clone my website on a preproduction environement, which is the same server as production, the customizer parameters are not keept. For exemple my logo, the colors, the design of the header, the menus… are lost during this process.

Can you help me to understand what happened.

    Thank you.

    Hi

All your Customization is persisted in the options table of your WordPress database, under the theme_mods_gwangi option_name. If your changes have been lost, it would suggest that either your theme name is different or your options table is empty.

You can still try to manually import your old Customizer settings, granted that your preproduction website still exists. For more, please read the following post:

    I hope this will help.

    Cheers,

I try with this technique https://www.wpbeginner.com/plugins/how-to-import-export-wordpress-theme-customizer-settings/ and It works.
But I have lost all my parameters by restoring my website.

I’m sure that other users of your theme gonna have this issue so maybe you should have a look to allow us to clone directly with all paramters without hassle.

    Hi @billdjango,

Unfortunately, managing the cloning of website is outside the scope of a WordPress theme or the support that we can provide for our product.

Furthermore, the mentioned plugin is the same that we use to build our demos or export the our theme options. I’m not sure that I could recommended a better (or safer) way to export and import Customizer settings.

    Cheers,
