Hi,
I’m using Gwangi to give company the possibility to register on my website so customer can take online appointement.
I would like to modify the “Profil tab” on the member profil page.
My wish is to have only one tab with
– rich text format which contain description or whatever the company wants to set
– A calendar to allow customer taking appointmentsThe solution for the calendar is not define at the moment (probably Amelia : https://wpamelia.com/).
I think it’s more buddypress configuration than Gwangi configuration but can you gie me more info ?

Unfortunately, I’m not sure to know what the best way to achieve this. Furthermore, this will probably require to hire a freelancer and do this custom work for you.
First, you could add new fields to extend the BuddyPress profiles and create an extra profile field to let them fill it with text, and there is probably a plugin out there to allow rich text. The following links will give more info on the subject:
Gwangi will display the extended profile fields under the “profile” tab of the user profile page.
Then, you could look with your developer for a way to remove unnecessary tabs or use BuddyPress User Profile Tabs Creator Pro (https://buddydev.com/plugins/buddypress-user-profile-tabs-creator-pro/) to do so. This plugin is currently untested and unsupported by our theme so we can’t guarantee that everything will work as expected, even though we believe there shouldn’t be any issues.
Finally, I suggest that you take a look to Events Calendar and The Events Calendar Pro. This plugin can be combined with an add-on providing features specific to community websites: https://theeventscalendar.com/product/wordpress-community-events
This add-on will allow user to create their own events and share them on your website.
