Hi,
There’s a certain page on which I only want to display members only if they are of a certain Member Type. Looking at the queries I only see the option to query by user role (see attached). Is there a way for me to display a filtered view of members who are part of a certain Member Type?
Thanks,

Hi Private,
Thank you for buying our theme. We hope it will meet all your expectations! 🙂
Our theme is compatible with Paid Memberships Pro (paidmembershipspro.com), which allow you to charge users, implement recurring payments and restrict content or areas of your website that will only be displayed to premium members. Plenty of PMPro add-ons are available on the author website to go further if necessary, including one for BuddyPress restrictions: paidmembershipspro.com/add-ons/buddypress-integration/
To know precisely which features will be restricted from your BuddyPress website, it’s best if you ask directly to the plugin authors.
They will be more informed and better suited to help you: paidmembershipspro.com/contact/
We remain available for all support requests related with the use of your theme.
Best,

Hi Private,
There are two way to get what you’re trying to achieve.
Using PMPro:
This plugin, as I told you in my previous answer, gives you the opportunity to privatise some part of your website. For exemple, you’ll be able to hide premium members from standard users. This way, only premium members will see other members with the same member level in the directory.
Using BuddyPress Member Type:
With this plugin, the directory will have some tab to filter the member you wanna see. For more about this, please click on the following link: BuddyPress Member Types
Hope this will help you. 🙂

Found the issue, in the BuddyPress settings I had set it so that members can’t change their profile picture, but apparently that setting applies to the admin as well. Changing the settings to allow members to change their profile picture makes the option appear. Thanks!
