I want to change the register button so that it says “sign up or try for free” and scrolls down to the pricing table on the home page when clicked.
I also want the button to retain the color as well
Could you tell me how to do this? Thanks

Hi Xavi,
The best practice would be to use the Logged Out Menu. To make the logged out menu visible (once it is created), you have to uncheck the “Display login and register buttons in the navbar” in Customize > Appearance > Login.

Exactly Xavi. 🙂
I took a look at your website and it seems the logged out menu is already displayed. It means you already have a Logged Out menu created. You just need to add the Register link to this menu and rename the label as you want.
You can edit this menu in Dashboard > Appearance > Menus > Menu user – Logged Out.
Hope this will help you. Let me know if you need more explanations.

FOr some reason I can’t find this menu to add a link to it. The only logged-out menu is the one that I’ve hidden.
Also, I tried removing the register link in this menu and it still appears on the homepage. any reason why that is the case?

Could you create a new website user for us please so we take a quick look at this? If possible with administrator capabilities so we can make a quick check of your settings.
You can post the user name and password in your next reply and mark it as private to keep this between us.Also, are we free to deactivate plugins for our tests? In this case, I invite you to make a backup before we investigate your website further in order to make sure you don’t loose any data if something goes wrong.
Thank you.

Hi Xavi,
Thank you for granting us access to your WP Dashboard.
I don’t exactly understand why you weren’t able to edit this menu. I followed the steps explained in my previous answers and all seems to work fine:
- I unchecked the “Display login and register buttons in the navbar” in Customize > Appearance > Login. Then, the Logged Out menu was displayed for non logged in users.
- Then, I edited this menu in Dashboard > Appearance > Menus > Menu user – Logged Out to add the page and edit the label by the one you wanted.
All seems to work fine on my side. Please find the attached screenshots.
Let me know if you need more explanations.
Cheers,
