On the registration form the first section has username required as part of the registration, which is what I want. The second section has name (required) and the rest of the fields I have set as signup/required (or not required). How do I get rid of the name field? I have the user settings to use “username” and requiring people to enter a name as part of the registration process is a problem.
Also (I can’t edit the original topic and forgot something), worst case scenario is there a way to make that required field (name) hidden? I can’t imaging people are going to be happy about being required to enter a name then seeing “visible to all members” in bold letters.

The Register page cannot be edited directly. However, you can create new member profile field and choose to display them in the registration form.
