Hello,
Am I able to set the “Activity” section as the first page that loads by default when someone accesses their profile?

I think I don’t understand exactly what you’re trying to achieve. Can you please be more specific?
Please note that when a user click on his name on the top of the website, he should first see the activity stream by default.
However, if you would like to redirect to the activity stream when a user log in, we recommend that you use Login With Ajax as it can help you with redirecting users to a specific page. Simply activate the plugin and go to “Settings > Login With Ajax”. There, under “Redirection Settings”, you will be able to set the URL that you wish to redirect them to.
Usually, we won’t recommend using both Grimlock Login and Login With AJAX as they almost serve a similar purpose (styling the login forms) but in your case, Login With Ajax will make the login experience a bit smoother using Ajax and it will also provide the redirection needed. On the other hand, Grimlock Login will keep on handling the styling for default WP login forms, when -and only when- they’re visited by your members.

Thanks for the reply.
When a user clicks on his name on the top of the website, they do not first see the activity stream by default. The user must navigate to the activity section in order to see that. At the moment, the default page when a user clicks on their name is dievergent5.com/members/username/I installed the Login With AJAX plugin but how do I link to the activity stream. I’m not sure what the URL should look like to be a global redirect for all users. Can you please advise?

By default, the activity page should be shown first. Can you confirm the Activity Streams option is selected in Dashboard > Settings > BuddyPress, please?
