Hi @derrick,
Sorry for your inconvenience. I will do my best to help you.
I assume that you followed the setup guide : https://doc.themosaurus.com/gwangi-setup-guide/
That it’s very important to follow these steps in a perfect order!
- 1. Install WordPress (please start with a fresh install)
- 2. Install Gwangi theme
- 3. Install required Plugins
- 4. BuddyPress setup
- 5. Import demo content
Please keep in mind that only the content of the “basic” demo will be imported : https://basic.gwangi-theme.com
Extra features (products, events, etc.) must be set manually. It’s necessary to refer to each part of our online documentation: https://doc.themosaurus.com/gwangi/
Currently, we are organically expanding each section of our documentation.
If the article you are looking for is missing, I would be happy to help you by walk you through the configuration steps or by sending you a video tutorial. Can you list the features missing from your install?
Thanks for your reply.

Hi @derrick,
Did you correctly set the front and blog page? Please find more in the following video: https://youtu.be/nftrvDpXbL4?t=1m3s
Moreover, I see no widget imported. Did you correctly import the provided Gwangi Youth widgets with the WIE file ? Please find more in the following video: https://youtu.be/nftrvDpXbL4?t=41s
Also, did you also upload and activate the Gwangi Youth child theme to change the default style kit ?
Thanks for your reply.

Hi @derrick,
We are writing several articles on our documentation for the customization of The Events Calendar & WooCommerce.
But as a “before taste” we can tell you that you need to download/install/activate 2 new plugins (Grimlock addons) allowing customization via the customizer.Grimlock WooCommerce & Grimlock the Events Calendar
Then you have to go in the WordPress Customizer in the corresponding sections (Events or Products).Doc for the customization of WooCommerce
https://doc.themosaurus.com/category/gwangi/gwangi-3-theme-customizer/gwangi-306-products/Doc for the customization of The Events Calendar

https://doc.themosaurus.com/category/gwangi/gwangi-9-plugins/gwangi-96-the-events-calendar/For the login form you can simply read this article (create page with page template + shortcode)

Hi @AIOKOGI,
Can you please give a link or screenshots of your website, so we can have a better view on the missing elements?
Regarding the shop page featured/header image, did you try to edit directly the page assigned to the shop and change its image ? You can find more on this in the following post: https://en.support.wordpress.com/featured-images/
Also, did you edit the primary menu to display the missing element in the header menu ? Please find more on this configuration step in the following article:
https://doc.themosaurus.com/category/gwangi/gwangi-2-website-setup/gwangi-22-menus/As mentionned in the setup guide, please keep in mind that only the content of the “basic” demo will be imported : https://basic.gwangi-theme.com
Some other area, like the shop and the event agenda might require manual configuration to let you make it more “personal”. ?Thank you for your reply.

Hi @AIOKOGI,
Did you correctly installed WooCommerce (for your shop page), The Events Calendar (for your events page) and Contact Form 7 (for your contact page) ? If not, first you will need to install and activate these plugins.
Then, please refer to the related posts found in our documentation and follow the described steps:
1) Setting up your Shop page: https://doc.themosaurus.com/setup-woocommerce-with-your-theme/?menu=gwangi
2) Setting up your Events page: https://doc.themosaurus.com/setup-the-events-calendar-with-your-theme/?menu=gwangi
3) Setting up your Contact Us page: https://doc.themosaurus.com/creating-contact-us-page/
4) Setting up your Event Countdown page/section:
You can either add a new page or a new Grimlock section to a widget area (granted the Grimlock plugin is correctly activated). After this, simply insert the following into the content area when editing the page/section:[tribe_event_countdown slug="late-night-party" show_seconds="yes" complete="Sorry, but this event is over!"]
Moreover, to find how you can add the shop page link in your primary menu, please give a quick look to the following video tutorial: https://youtu.be/g5m-JtCx7z0
(You can repeat the process for the any calendar page if wanted.)Finally, to learn how you can change the shop page header image, please check the steps in the following video tutorial: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FP8Epx1yPT0
We hope this will help you better.
Cheers,

Hi @AIOKOGI,
1) We have updated the following post to let you create the exact same form: https://doc.themosaurus.com/creating-contact-us-page/
You can copy/paste the new HTML markups to update your form and then, add your shortcode into the content of your contact page (if not done already).
Please keep in mind that on our demo, the contact page is made using Grimlock sections. If you want to make your contact page look exactly the same as the demo, you will need to use the “Homepage Minimal” template and override the Homepage widget area using Easy Custom Sidebars. This will allow you to add Grimlock section widgets to your contact page.
More on this in the following articles:
– Creating the homepage: https://doc.themosaurus.com/creating-homepage/?menu=gwangi
– Managing the widget areas: https://doc.themosaurus.com/managing-widgets-widget-areas/?menu=gwangi
– Creating custom widgets areas with Easy Custom Sidebars: https://doc.themosaurus.com/creating-custom-widget-areas/?menu=gwangi2) We’ve visited your website and its blog seems to be working correctly. But if needed, you can find more on the blog page setup in this post: https://doc.themosaurus.com/creating-blog-page/?menu=gwangi
3) “Feature – homepage” is menu. You can change the text displayed by editing the description from each menu item in the menu section of your admin panel. If the description text area isn’t visible, please review your screen options, at the top right of your screen. More on this in the following video tutorial: https://youtu.be/1ktsyQpzjD8
4) You can change the footer layout by visiting the Customizer (“Appearance > Customize” in the admin or “Customize” in the admin bar when visiting your site). More on this in the following video tutorial: https://youtu.be/7evr4fLBgSQ
5) To create a mega menu, please follow the steps described in the following post: https://doc.themosaurus.com/create-a-mega-menu/?menu=gwangi

Hi @AIOKOGI,
1) Can you share the URL to your website please ? So we can have a better understanding on the issue you are facing.
2) You can display the categories on your blog page by visiting the “Customize” section of your site. More on this topic in the following video tutorial: https://youtu.be/pmQ7NZqsEVE
Also, to learn more on the Customizer of your site, please review our documentation: https://doc.themosaurus.com/gwangi/#grimlock_term_query_section_widget-93) Can you share the URL to your website please ? So we can have a better understanding on the issue you are facing.
4) Unfortunately, the debugging and setting of BuddyPress activation emails isn’t part of the support we will provide for our theme (Gwangi) and our plugins (Grimlock suite). The following posts might help you find a solution to your issue:
https://buddypress.org/support/topic/help-activation-email-not-sent-nothing-works/
https://buddypress.org/support/topic/activation-email/We also invite you to ask for more help with these settings on the BuddyPress support forums: https://buddypress.org/support/
5) Unfortunately, the installation, debugging and setting of Affiliates or Affiliates WooCommerce Light isn’t part of the support we will provide for our theme (Gwangi) and our plugins (Grimlock suite). We invite you to ask for more help with these plugins on their support forums:
https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/affiliates
https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/affiliates-woocommerce-lightFor quicker support, you can get in touch directly with the plugin developer (itthinx: http://www.itthinx.com/)
Please remember that Gwangi will only support partially Affiliates WooCommerce Light. However, given the few HTML markups printed on the site frontend, it should work properly.
