(also sorry, this is an automatic translation)First, is it possible to add information to everyone’s SwipeCard?
I’d like the “like process” to be more intuitive (for example, when you press “Like”, isn’t it possible to go directly to the next person, automatically?). Currently on my site, you have to press “Like”, nothing happens and then press the arrow on the right to move on to the next profile.
Finally, with a simple question, I’ve translated the .pot file in the Languages folder, but when I put it in the folder under the name “fr_FR.po”, absolutely nothing happens. What should I do?

- Add information to everyone’s Swipe Card: What exactly would you like to add ? A specific profile field ? You first have to add the new field in Dashboard > Users > Profile Fields. Then, you can choose to display a field in the member card in Customize > BuddyPress > Members Directory > Directory.
- Directory: That’s how it works by default. In case you want to make it more interactive, I suggest you to change the Directory Layout for Swipe Stack Card in Dashboard > Settings > BuddyPress > MatchPress > Layout. Then, you’ll be able to swipe on the left to ignore, right to like, top to superlike! ♥️ Like a Tinder feature.
- Translation: if the name is just “fr_FR.po”, there is something’s wrong. The name of the plugin should be included. Please take a look at this article below, It might help you solve this.

Concerning your last question, I think this Add-On might helpt you achieve that : MatchPress for BP Profile Search.
Thanks to MatchPress for BP Profile Search add-on, members will be allowed to select filter values into their account to preselect the displayed deck of member cards. 🙂

Concerning the first issue, I don’t think you need this function. It’s best if we take a quick look at this. Could you create a new website user for us please? If possible with administrator capabilities so we can make a quick check of your settings. You can post the user name and password in your next reply and mark it as private to keep this between us. Also, are we free to deactivate plugins for our tests? In this case, I invite you to make a backup before we investigate your website further in order to make sure you don’t loose any data if something goes wrong.
Concerning the filter feature: Can you confirm me you created User Role and not Member Type ? What did you use to create a new role ?

It seems your theme doesn’t allow adding more profile fields into the card. So, I’m afraid this feature will need custom development. Unfortunately, this is a service that we do not provide. We only share snippet only to solve issues with our theme. Any further request for CSS snippets will have to be part of a defect that needs to be fixed urgently. No snippets will be shared otherwise.
If you’re on a tight budget, we recommend you to require the services from Fiverr. This web platform gives you access to developers who already have experience with theme customizations, and for very competitive prices.
Disclaimer : we have no affiliation with Fiverr and are only recommending it as a starting point and a popular option for those who might not be sure where to look when in need of some custom work.
Concerning the filter, I’m wondering if MatchPress for BP Profile Search Add-on might be a bad choice for your use. As I understand, the choice is not for everyone to make, but imposed to the user depending on his member type. So, I think MatchPress for Paid Memberships Pro Add-on might be better. Using Paid Memberships Pro, you can hide members automatically depending on the member type.
Please note that every premium plugins or add-ons must be purchased separately. So, by buying Gwangi, you just buy the theme.
