    I’m using WP Mail SMTP with the GMail SMTP active. When I choose to send a test email, it comes through without a problem. But. When people fill out the registration form, no emails are being received. Obviously, this presents a problem. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

    We’re very sorry for your inconvenience. Manage emails in WordPress might be quite complicated.

    First of all, you need to check if your emails are well being sent from your WordPress site or not. We wrote an article in our documentation about that:

    Not Receiving Emails

    Please be aware that we do not make any changes to BuddyPress core emails in our theme or plugins. So, this issue has to come from elsewhere. Unfortunately, the installation, setting or debugging of third party plugins and hosting server misconfigurations isn’t part of the support we will provide for our theme.
