Changing text color is blocked by:
.single.single-post .grimlock--single-content, .page-template-template-narrow-12-cols-left .grimlock--page-content, .page-template-template-narrower-12-cols-left .grimlock--page-content, .page-template-template-12-cols-left .grimlock--page-content { color: var(--grimlock-archive-post-color); }

If you want to change the text color, I suggest you to go to Dashboard > Appearance > Customize > Appearance > Typography > Text and change the text color.
If you want to change the article text color, I suggest you to go to Dashboard > Appearance > Customize > Posts > Posts page > Item and change the text color. Please find the attached screenshot.

Thanks, it works now, I was in general text color option.
