Why is there a black login/register and search bar showing above the website header?
I don’t know how to get rid of that. can you please tell me?October 17, 2020 at 21:53 #24574
Could try to uncheck the “Show the Toolbar for logged out users” please?
You can edit this by going to your BuddyPress settings. Simply go to your dashboard and navigate to “Settings > BuddyPress”. Then, just open the “Options” tab and uncheck the suggested box.

The toolbar is now gone for “Logged out” users. It does not show when logged-out. Good!
However, it DOES still shows when a user is logged in. How do I remove it for “logged in” users as well?
That black bar is unnecessary and should not be there.October 19, 2020 at 14:36 #24629
