When I try to access the Registration page I am redirected to the site homepage and when I try to edit it with Elementor I get the error message “The content area was not found on your page – You must call ‘the_content” function in the current template, in order for Elementor to work on this page”

Just to be clear : are you trying to edit the register page with Elementor?
The Register page cannot be edited directly. Indeed, this page is generate by BuddyPress. However, you can create new member profile field and choose to display them in the registration form.
Moreover, you can’t access this page if you are already connected. Can you confirm that it’s the case, please?
