Hi,
1. The new update to Grimlock Login (1.1.5) causes the Login and Register buttons in the header (shown prior to the update using the Appearance > Login > “Display login form in a modal” checkbox) to disappear when logged out (on desktop and mobile). We have tried to save settings again by choosing “Display login form in a modal”, but this doesn’t change anything.
2. When you select the “Display login form in a dropdown” option, there is a duplicate “Login” button on mobiles/tablets that doesn’t do anything.
3. Sometimes “Login” is written as “Log In”. It would be great to get back to the “Login” consistency.
4. Theme and plugins are up to date. We also do not use any custom code. Can these be fixed soon, please?
Thanks.

Concerning the duplicated login button, we can’t reproduce this issue. Could you deactivate all plugins that have not been installed with your theme during its setup and all existing custom PHP code snippets please? And then, could you confirm me that the issue is still persisting please?
We’re waiting for your feedback.
Thank you.

We have just released a new update of Grimlock Login. Updating this plugin to the latest version should fix the issue related to the login and register button in the nav.
After the update, the problem should now be fixed. However, you might still be seeing the issue because your browser cache is showing you an older version of the page (browsers do that to load pages faster). To see that the issue is resolved you will need to empty your browser cache and reload the page. If you want to read more on what browser cache is and how to clear it, here is an article that might help you: How to Clear Internet Cache in Every Major Browser.
Kindest regards,

Hi Manathan,
The update has fixed the issue with the missing Login and Register buttons in the navigation bar when using “Display login form in a modal”.
We’ve been able to replicate the duplicated Login button through selecting “Display login form in a dropdown”, Publishing the changes and viewing the page as a mobile or tablet. We’re not using any custom PHP and tried turning off all unnecessary plugins, but the issue persists.
Thanks.

I’m glad to read this first issue is solved.
Concerning your second issue, we’ve been able to reproduce this. Thank you for your feedback. There is definitely an issue in our theme which will be fixed in the next update.
We’ll be back to you as soon as the update is available.
Thank you for your patience.

Please note that to change the “Log In” button to “Login”, you have to translate this. Here is an article that might help you:
The operations to follow are the same. However, I think this string is located in BuddyPress.
