Hello,
I have an issue where users try to post in a group but are unable to. the process times out and won’t do anything when you click the post button. I can still however post inside of forums, and from individual profile pages. Please help!

Hi Matt,
Can you please make sure the Post Comments option is checked in Dashboard > Settings > BuddyPress > Options > Activity Settings? Please find the attached screenshot.

Yes, it is selected. The weird thing is that some people can post, and some can’t… How can this be? I haven’t changed any settings. I’m an admin and I cant post. but users can.

Hi Matt,
My best guess is that your issue might probably related with the configuration of Paid Membership Pro.
Could you deactivate this plugins, please? And then, could you confirm me that the issue is still persisting please?
Please also make sure that you have the latest theme version and that all recommended plugins are up-to-date. Finally, you could also consider clearing all activated caching system as well as your browser cache before investigating any further.
