Hello,
In regards to my last support post how users were not showing up I noticed they are not getting a role assigned to them… I checked general settings and it should be giving the user “Gamer1” (test role I made)
Any idea(s)/reasonings this is happening?

Is the role correctly defined for users, but not displayed in front end? Or the role is not defined when the user is registered?
In case the role is not set in the member profile, this issue is related to a misconfiguration of BuddyPress plugin. As this question is related with BuddyPress settings, it’s best if you try to reach the plugin authors. They will be more informed and better suited to help you. It’s weird though, as the old theme I used to use never had this issue until I switched to this one..

We remind you that a theme affects the presentation and visual style of your site, while plugins add all kinds of features and functionalities. The member management feature is managed by BuddyPress plugin, while our theme applies some style to the plugin’s features.
As I told you, if the member role you wanted to apply on new members is not attributed when registering, then it is related to BuddyPress configuration.
However, in case the role is correctly set on the user profile but not displayed in front, it is something different.
