    Hi Support,

I have purchased and successfully install the Cera theme which is really great – nice job.

I would like to create some simple pages around the theme using Elementor Pro, which is listed as supported by this theme.

Can you confirm this is ok to go ahead and install and use with this theme and has compatibility.

    Thanks,
    David

    Hi David,

Thank you for buying our theme. We hope it will meet all your expectations! 🙂

Be sure our theme is compatible with Elementor.

Please be aware that our demo have been build with Gutenberg editor. It is the default editor for WordPress and is recommended for many reasons, including its ease of use, speed and lightness. To know more about how to use Gutenberg, I think this article from WP Beginner might help you: How to Use the WordPress Block Editor.

You should know that we have developed our own blocks called Grimlock (Grimlock Section, Grimlock Query, Grimlock Posts, Grimlock Divider, …). These blocks will give you a lot of customization possibilities. You shouldn’t feel limited.

Note that we use widgets in our theme, more precisely in the footer. You will be able to use the customizer to change the look and add widgets in the widget areas defined by our theme. Both Grimlock widgets and Grimlock blocks have the same characteristics.

Elementor is quite heavy to use. However, in case you would like to edit your pages with this editor, we wrote an article in our documentation that might catch your attention:

Installing the Elementor Demo Version Manually

I hope this will help you. Don’t hesitate to come back to us if you have other questions. 🙂

That was perfect advice thanks. I have it all installed and working now.

One other question. The theme demo has a light/dark mode button in the bottom left.

Where do I locate that to be turned on?

    Thanks,
    David

I have searched the plug in [add new section] in WordPress and followed the link in your article but cannot locate a link to the plug-in file anywhere.

How do I locate and install the Grimlock Dark Mode plug-in from a repository or via the WordPress dashboard?

    Thanks,
    David

    Hi David,

Indeed, a setting needed to be adjusted in order to allow you to download the plugin. Note that as this plugin is made for our themes only, this plugin is not available in the WordPress plugin library.

You have to click on the link in our article to download the .zip file and import manually this file to your website.

Let me know if you need more explanations. 🙂
